In 2006-07, Lion Bill served his second time as President of the Daleville Lions Club which received the Alabama Lions Rodderick Beddow Award for the Most Outstanding Club in Alabama for the 2nd time in it's history and the PIP Bill Chandler Membership Award for increasing membership from 28 to 44 members.  Lion Bill received the President Excellence Award.

Club Campaign SightFirst I  & II Chairman - During CSFII Daleville was a Progressive Model Club

During 1994-95 Year, Bill was named Lion of the Year for his Club which was the same year the Club received it's first Roderick Beddow Award for the
Multiple's most outstanding club. 

Bill received a Melvin Jones Fellowship from his Club.
